Personal Statement
I believe that the exploration of personal narratives must be at the foundation of any research and teaching enterprise that endeavors to make sense of the world and one’s place within it. As such, I envision a space where people can realize their fullest potential and be nurtured along the way while also listening to the personal histories of others. My commitment to teaching and training around leadership, ethnic and racial diversity is deeply rooted in my core values that are grounded in my own quest at self-discovery. As such, I have chosen to dedicate my energy to supporting the needs of various communities and organizations as they work to become the very best that they can be.
